How starbucks saved my life

 

The main character of this book is white old man Michel Gates Gill.

 He is the son of famous magazine writer and he was wealthy. He worked big advertising company for over 25 years but suddenly he was dismissed because the company needed young people. He tried to continue working but he couldn’t manage it. He also lost his family. Then he met Crystal in Starbucks and she asked him “do you want a job?” Crystal is African American woman. And he answered “Yes”.

 

 

I was surprised the situation of this main character. He lost a lot of things when he was old. Nobody expect that. He faced different world that he had not experience. I looking forward to reading how he accepted his new situation and how starbucks saved his life!
