Exit Broad way

I read last chapter of this story.

As the title showed, this chapter is about exit broard way.

 

Michael went to the store to work last shift, after finished the shift he was offered to go out with other partners.

He got warm message from others.

 

Since he had stared to work Starbucks he learned a lot of things.

I think he could very important things through the experience.

 

Now, he is working at Starbucks in near his house.

 

 

Next, I would like to read sense and sensibility written by Jane Austin.

I don’t know this story but after I read this I would like to watch movie of this story which my favorite actor is staring.

I’m looking forward to reading it.

 

February

I finished to read the most part of this book.

Finally I left one chapter that I haven’t read.

 

I read one chapter this week.

Most of this chapter the main character Michael spent time to decide he should leave broad way store and move to the store which located in his neighborhood or continue to working at broad way store.

He spent very good time with his partners in brad way store.

I think that he experienced many things through working that store.

So it gonna be difficult.

 

I am looking forward to read last chapter.

And next, I have to read another book. I haven’t decided it yet.  

January

I read the chapter about January at Starbucks store.

 

One partner tried to let him resister this job because of his disadvantage of resister. He is not good at handle money. But finally he became to be able to manage it and avoid to lose his job.

 

Starbucks in the US have system to let someone lose job by opinion of other partners.

 

He met Abe who is the Starbucks manager of this area and he suggested Michael to move the starbucks store near his house. Basically partner can work near store they live. It is difficult for Michael to decide that he has to move nor not.  

November-December

I would like to write about what happened in November and December.

 

Michael had great opportunity to share coffee with guests in his shop.

He was allowed to have coffee seminar by Crystal.

He enjoyed the seminar very much and it was great!

He contributed the coffee beans selling of this store.

 

Another day he and his partners had forum. Every Starbucks partners around manhathan  came the forum.

 

In this year’ Christmas, Michael couldn’t spend time with his family but he spent at Starbucks store in broadway. He describes that this Starbucks store is like shelter for him. Starbucks protect him from coldness of New York and his situation.

 

I think his job at Starbucks gonna be his important part of his life.

I am looking forward to read the next chapter.

September-October

In this week the context I prefer to write about is Michael’s disease.

He has a tumor, cancer in the brain.

He found it when he lost his job, then he had no insurance so the one of the reasons he decided to work at Starbucks is to get insurance for workers. The Starbucks’s insurance system is good for him and his family.

He went to see a doctor in this chapter. And the doctor said to him that his hearing ability is going down. The left ear has only 20% ability, but the right ear is good, normal for his age.

Finally he wouldn’t have to go through operation.

That is good news for him.

July- August

In this week I read one chapter: July-August

 

The main character Micheal is getting used to work at Starbucks.

At Starbucks, talking to guests is one of important jobs, it gives guests relaxed at store.

He also enjoys talking to guests.

So as I read this book this week there are many talking scene.

 

One day his boss Crystal asked him to do opening.

The store he is working is opened at 6 so until the opening there are many things to do, so that is challenge for him. But he did good job. He could manage to do that job.

 

 

I almost read the half of this book. The main character changed a lot through book.

I could know the Starbucks system a little bit. That was fun!
